Welcome to Khatauli.in (“the Platform”). As a community-driven platform, we strive to create a safe, respectful, and helpful environment for all users. By using the Platform, you agree to follow these guidelines.

Users must NOT:

  • Share content that includes hate speech, harassment, threats, or violence.
  • Upload explicit, illegal, or adult content.
  • Spam, scam, or mislead other users.
  • Engage in cyber-attacks, hacking, or security breaches.

3. Copyright & Intellectual Property

  • Users must only upload content they own or have the right to use.
  • Any unauthorized use of copyrighted material is prohibited.
  • If you believe your copyright has been infringed, please contact support@khatauli.in with details.
  • The Platform does not claim ownership of user-uploaded content but retains the right to remove or moderate content that violates intellectual property rights.
  • We encourage using CC0 (Creative Commons Zero) licensing for original content where possible, reducing potential copyright conflicts.

4. Listing & Posting Rules

  • Listings must be placed in appropriate categories.
  • Duplicate, expired, or misleading listings will be removed.
  • Users must avoid sharing personal or sensitive information in public listings.

5. Safety & Privacy Awareness

  • Users should meet in safe public locations for transactions.
  • Be cautious when sharing personal or financial information.
  • Uploaded images may contain EXIF GPS metadata, which can reveal location details—remove this metadata before uploading.

6. Consequences of Violations

  • Content that violates these guidelines may be removed without notice.
  • Accounts engaging in repeated violations may face temporary suspension or permanent banning.
  • Serious offenses may result in legal action under Indian cyber laws and IT Act, 2000.

7. Changes to These Guidelines

We may update these guidelines periodically. Continued use of the Platform implies acceptance of the revised guidelines.
